I stuck to the detox for the first few days but its too painful!! Imagine not eating for 7 days. I'll probably finish off the detox during semester break.
Here are the following reasons why I couldn't complete the detox
READY : Its a marinated kangaroo fillet on a baquette. Might sound bad but its actually quite tasty and kangaroo meat is in every supermarket here
Made dumplings: here's the filling and I used store bought wraps
Here's the finished product. So nice and easy
I had quite a bad week too, first I lost my voice for the ENTIRE week, I couldn't say a word, then I cut my thumb whilst chopping chives for the dumplings and THEN.. i won an IMAC !! so in the end, everythings still good
Made some wholemeal flatbread..
Here's some shallots, onion, soy, chicken powder and salt......
and here's the end result after adding some cooked noodles and beef soup. Quick and healthy
Here's a really quick tasmanian salmon and spinach with milk over rice. It tastes similar to salmon and cream but its sooo much healthier
Made a quick potato bake
And this banana cake is the easiest and tastiest cake I can make. The batter is also extremely tasty :) !!
You only need to wash up 2 bowls and a fork making this
First you mix:
1 and 3/4 cups of self-raising flour
1/4 cup of wholemeal plain flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup of sugar ( I don't like really sweet cakes but feel free to add more sugar if you feel it's not sweet enough )
then in the second bowl:
mash 2 ripe bananas
mix in 2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
slosh ( approx. 40 - 80 grams of olive oil )
add the wet ingredients into the dry ones and mix. You should have a mix of the above consistancy so add more milk if you need to then in a preheated 180 degree oven, bake it for 50 minutes.
It really is PERFECT ! trust me. You could also sprinkle some oats over the top before you bake it because it looks better
